Vinay began working in costs in 2009 at a large Leeds-based solicitors' firm, mainly drafting bills and dealing with employers' liability and public liability paying party work.

Since then, he has worked at other large solicitors' firms and more recently at a Medical Defence Organisation.

His previous roles have provided him with extensive experience in both personal injury and clinical negligence matters,

having carried out both receiving and paying party work.

Currently, he works as a negotiator, in which his role involves preparing detailed advice to numerous clients on varying types of claims, negotiating with opponents as well as preparing Points of Reply and Points of Dispute.

Away from work, Vinay likes to travel as much as possible as well as attend various sport and music events.
