Costs Drafter & Team Leader

After leaving school, Ramla started a career in the education sector, before enrolling on her Law and Psychology degree at Anglia Ruskin University. After completing her degree with a 2:1, she subsequently began her legal career in 2019 where she joined TLS as a Costs Draftsman.


Ramla is passionate about developing her ever-expanding knowledge of legal costs, as well as in advising clients on matters pertaining to costs.


She currently specialises in preparing inter-partes Bills of Costs, Costs Budgets, and N260 Statements for Trials for a variety of claim types, including road traffic accidents, personal injury, medical negligence and fixed costs matters, as well as solicitor/client Bills. She also deals with the Costs Management of cases proceeding to Case Management Hearings, including preparing Precedent Rs.


Outside of work, Ramla enjoys photography, working out, travelling, and science-fiction.
