Costs Drafter

Mollie began her career in Costs Law in 2015 as a Trainee Costs Draftsman specialising in Court of Protection Costs. For two years she prepared Bills of Costs for Professional Deputies and Lay Deputies in relation to General Management, Deputyship Applications, Statutory Wills Applications and Applications to make a Gift. Following the assessment at the Senior Courts Costs Office, Mollie was able to prepare successful Letter of Appeal to the Costs Officers. Over the course of her time specialising in Court of Protection Costs, many of her Bills were assessed as drawn. 


Having gained extensive knowledge within Court of Protection Law, Mollie went on to progress her career into Civil Litigation Costs in 2017. 


From 2017, Mollie has continued to specialise in Multi-Track matters including Personal Injury (ranging from Catastrophic Injury to Clinical Negligence) and Professional Negligence. She has gained excellent knowledge and skills when preparing her Bills of Costs and Costs Budgets.


Mollie’s quality of work and attention to detail has led to her preparing Bills of Costs in excess of 1.5 million pounds, securing a very successful recovery from the Defendant. 


Outside of work Mollie enjoys spending time with her family and two miniature dachshunds. She is very passionate about her fitness and health, and throughout the week Mollie attends many fitness events and continues to train with her fellow athletes to become fitter and stronger.
