Jay Fisher

Jay qualified as a solicitor in 2011, specialising in personal injury claims dealing with all aspects of the matter from inception to conclusion. As well as handling her own costs, she regularly attended disposal hearings, also dealing with the settlement of costs. In late 2011, Jay moved specifically into the area of costs law and has dealt with all aspects of drafting Bills and Budgets over the last few years.

As a result, Jay has vast experience in a variety of high-value cases, ranging from Complex Injury, Clinical Negligence, Property Dispute and Commercial matters. She predominantly specialises in Budgets, all aspects of costs management, Budget negotiations and advice, and regularly attends Costs Case Management Conferences on behalf of our clients. Jay attended one of the first CCMC’s, when the process began in 2013, and has since attended a number of hearings ranging from the High Court to the County Court. Jay’s advocacy skills and understanding of the costs process often achieves great results.

In her spare time, Jay enjoys walking her dogs in the Peak District and competing on her horse.
